The China Europe Arctic shipping route has officially been launched, marking a new chapter in global logistics. On September 24, 2025, the Chinese company Sea Legend Line sent its vessel Istanbul Bridge from Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, setting sail for Europe via the Northern Sea Route (NSR). The journey is expected to take only 18 days — nearly half the time of the traditional route through the Suez Canal, which usually requires 30–35 days.
